I've been doing website management and web design pretty much full-time for the last couple years, and actually started doing web design part-time back in 1997 (back when websites were carved in stone). People have been saying (and I've known) I need to get a website up, but I've been so busy that I haven't been able to. (What's that saying about a mechanic's car being in poor repair because he never has the time to work on his own?)

I mainly work with WordPress and Joomla!. WordPress is an open source software package and it has recently stepped out of being "just a blog" package and into being a very competent light to medium weight Content Management System (CMS), and it even works well for standard websites. The beauty of it is the simplicity of its backend interface which allows the user to easily add and edit content. As a designer, WordPress allows me to take your site from concept to live in a very short time.

Joomla! is a very powerful, open source, medium to heavy-duty CMS with incredible flexibility built right into it, which again allows me to roll sites out very quickly.

So, this is officially the web home of Spees Design. Please check back again soon and hopefully some of the dust will have cleared by then.
